With its name, 2017-18 Leaf In the Game Used Hockey gives collectors a good indication of what to expect. Memorabilia is the focus, bringing together players from the game’s early stars through to more modern times.

Each box of 2017-18 Leaf In the Game Used Hockey has five premium cards per box stemming from more than a dozen different thematic insert sets.
Going back to earlier times of professional hockey comes Vintage Memorabilia. Available in both single- and multi-player combinations, these have swatches from Georges Vezina, Hap Day, Cyclone Taylor and King Clancy. Multi-piece Vintage Memorabilia cards with anywhere from two to 12 players.

All-Time Gr8s have eight different players.
Rare Materials have just one player but they have five swatches. These go beyond just jerseys and can include other gear like skates, pants, blockers, gloves and more.

Nickname Hall of Fame takes more legends, highlighting some of the more catchy monikers in the process.

The Letterman come with a full letter from the back of a jersey. Mario Lemieux and Brett Hull are among those on the checklist.
Some of the other themes touched upon in 2017-18 Leaf In the Game Used Hockey as far as multi-player cards go include The Final Curtain (same last seasons), teammates (Dynamic Duos), same Hall of Fame class (Induction Years), and enforcers (The Dirty Dozen, Hard 8).

Although 2017-18 Leaf In the Game Used Hockey is mainly memorabilia, the checklist does have a couple of parts with autographs as well. In the Game Used Signatures have one, two and three players. Super Patch Exclusive Signatures have autographs and large patch pieces from Leaf exclusives Nico Hischier, Nolan Patrick and Jack Eichel.

The Chosen Few has a somewhat interactive element. Cards in the program give collectors a choice in who they want to get.
