2015-16 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey delves deep into memorabilia. And while this has been the brand's trademark for years, the product arrives with several tweaks and some new components. Eight-pack hobby boxes promise a total of three memorabilia or autograph cards.

The base set has a total of 100 cards. On top of those are three serial numbered subsets. Stars and Rookies are limited to 999 copies each while Legends have a print run of 499. Base cards have several levels of parallels, all of which are also numbered.

Because of its early release, 2015-16 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey won't have cards of Connor McDavid or any of the other 2015 draft picks live in packs. However, Rookie Redemptions are back and fall one per hobby box. In the past, redemptions have been limited to base cards and a few autographs. This year, things have changed a little. The top five players will have an assortment of cards to go with their basic redemptions. Collectors can find Rookie Redemption Autographs, Autographed Memorabilia, Patch Tag Autographs and one-of-one Black Foil cards.

Among the completely new inserts are Year One Rookie Gamers. These come with swatches of game-used gear from the player's first season. Expect a mix of parallels that include patches and tags.

Returning memorabilia-focused sets in 2015-16 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey include Frozen Artifacts, Stick-to-Stick, Tundra Tandems, Tundra Trios and Tundra Sixes. There also also relic versions of base cards. Among the signed cards are Base Autographs and Autographed Relics, Top 12 Rookie Signatures, Autograph Buybacks (#/10) and new Lord Stanley's Legacy Signatures.

Honored Members is a new inserted dedicated solely to Hall of Famers. The plan is to have it run for three years and cover around 100 players. The thick cards mix acetate and foil. Relic and autographed versions are numbered to 27 while Cut Signatures have no more than five copies each.

To mě taky napadlo, no snad ne, ale i tak nadherný desing!!! Do tohohle bych šel už jenom kvuli Base setu. Takhle mají vypadat karty , proto je UD číslo jedna, ne jak ty hnusy od ITG. Steve

Design moc pěknej i když se mi to teď zda takový moc tmavý,na živo to bude jiný. A i když nevím jak to bylo u posledních artifacts tak mi prijde i trochu změn co se týče limitů-například tundra tandems/300, patch tundra tandems/15,u golmanu to vypadá že budou bez limitů,legendy taky asi nebyly nebo jo?

Celkem by bylo fajn mít base set se současnýma hracema i s golmanama a hvězdy a legendy zvlášť. Podle toho co píšou tak by to byt mohlo.

Změna taky v počtu balíčků,z deseti na osm. Kdyby to snizilo cenu tak proč ne. Sem na ne fakt zvědavej.

Artifacts jsou jediná série na trhu, u které jsem si vždy jist, že mě nezklame. Ještě se to za ty roky co vyšla a co je sbírám nikdy nestalo snad. Letos to vypadá opět nádherně. Jen mě trochu naštvalo, že se snížil počet balíčků. Pro mě bylo i 10 málo, ale ještě se to dalo. 8 už mi ale celkem vadí. Navíc se vsadím, že i když tam bude jen 8 balíčků oproti minulým ročníkům, cena bude určitě šílená (alespon v čr)

Ta Legacy Signatures sa mi celkom paci, ten zbytok dúfam ze v reáli bude vyzerať lepšie lebo zatiaľ mi to príde akoby tie karty zabudli pred škôlkou a deti sa na nich vybláznili fixkami!! O dva balíky menej a cena ta istá. A naplnené budu tak podobne ako v minulosti. Uvidíme!

Krása,jako vždycky,přál bych si aby něco udělali s tou cenou,minulej rok,když to vemu k tomu jak byli boxy plněný a za kolik pak ty karty chodili na ebayi tak byla šílená.Kdyby teď cena za box byla kolem 1,900,- Kč tak by to bylo férový ale obávám se,že o tom si můžeme nechat zdát.
