O-Pee-Chee is the release for set collectors.

The 2014-15 O-Pee-Chee Hockey release will feature a 600-card base set with 32 packs of eight cards in every box.

Each pack will include a Regular Retro Variation card. Every box should have eight Marquee Rookies, eight Marquee Legends, eight Rainbow Foil parallels, 10 OPC Stickers and two OPC V Series A inserts. There will be random Black Border cards (numbered to 100) randomly inserted.

Case hits feature three autographs (including rare buybacks) and four NHL Team Logo Patches.

The popular NHL Team Logo Patches will be making their last appearance in O-Pee-Chee hockey. The third year of the manufactured relic cards will feature logos from 1917 to present with six tiers of scarcity. There will be commemorative, vintage and cartoon patches – finishing a 300-card set.

The O-Pee-Chee V Series inserts will use pre-war hockey cards on 2 ½-by-2 ½-inch cards.

Upper Deck will have a wrapper redemption, but specific details weren’t released yet. The cards collectors can get in the redemption include five Red Border parallels and one Mini Tall Boy.

Collectors have a chance to also find Black Bordered Hot Boxes.

2014-15 O-Pee-Chee Hockey is scheduled to come out September 3.

Sú naozaj svojské ako každý rok, ale určo si nájdu svoj okruh zberateľov, najmä keď patria medzi prvé vydania novej sezóny po dlhej uhorkovej prestávke ja sa tiež občas na ne chytím, ale potom ich vyradím resp. nechám len lepší kúsok napríklad parallel atď.

Some lucky collectors busting packs of 2014-15 O-Pee-Chee have uncovered rare 3-D insert cards that Upper Deck decided to put in as a special unannounced surprise.

For the third year in a row, the O-Pee-Chee brand has featured a special set that was not revealed to the public prior to release and the hobby has reacted to them positively once again.

In 2012-13, there were Deckle Edge inserts that came at incredibly long odds and they were similar to inserts that came in second series O-Pee-Chee packs during the 1970-71 season. Last year, Upper Deck once again dug back into the brand’s lush history and made a Glossy set that echoed the one-per-pack inserts from the 1977-78 campaign.

This time, Upper Deck went a little off the grid since there were no similar cards in any original O-Pee-Chee releases, but they were certainly a staple for baseball collectors in the 1970s and 1980s as Kellogg’s ran a long and successful 3-D trading card program.

The 2014-15 O-Pee-Chee 3-D collection is made up of 42 different cards and there is a strong assortment of current players and legends. Upper Deck also did not announce the blank back variants for the Retro parallel cards and it is expected that they will be quite limited once again. Insertion ratios were not published for either set.

OPC jsou důvodem, proč by se produkty měly hodnotit až po vybalení. Rozbalil jsem 4 boxy a užil jsem si to. Tuhle 3D jsem shodou okolností vytáhl taky. Nicméně, karty naživo nevypadají tak strašně jak na scanu, celkem to jde. Z čeho jsem hotovej, dnes se mi prodal na beji team patch detroit ceremony za 168USD. V době, kdy lze koupit podpis Henrika Lundqvista za 20USD dá někdo 168USD za vyrobený patch. Je fakt, že to je vkládaný 1:asi 4700 balíčkům, ale i tak - Američani jsou krásně pošahaní, tohle by na shopu nikdo nevzal ani za 250, -Kč:-). Sorry, bylo to Kanaďan. Já to vůbec nečekal, viděl jsem, jak se prodávají jiný, tak jsem si říkal, 50USD bude super. Ale tohle je jedna z nejdražších karet, co jsem prodal v poslední době.
Každopádně, produkt dobrý. Jen ta cena by mohla být maličko nižší, myslím, že úroveň ceny MVP by tomu slušela více.

Ty 3Dčka vypadají zajímavě, ale taky chodí, popřípadě jsou vystaveny, za solidní pálky....např. Nuge šel teď za necelých 67$
