Every four-card box of 2013-14 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Hockey includes a rookie card, an autograph and either a memorabilia card or a second autograph.
One of the big draws of the product are the rare pieces like multi-swatch patch cards and others that have unique jersey pieces. One-of-one Ultimate Signature Logos are available for both veterans and rookies. Dual Patch Autographs combine a pair of memorabilia pieces with a signature. Ultimate Rookie Duo Patches have two swatches from two different players for a total of four patches. Ice Premiere Auto Patch cards (#/10) make their Ultimate Collection debut. These have both a rookie autograph and a patch piece.
Rookie Autographs come in three tiers. All are numbered with the rarest base versions being limited to 99 copies each. Every case of 2013-14 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Hockey should have one of the short-print rookies.
The retro-themed 1997 Upper Deck Legends Autographs make their final appearance in the product. This is the third time the iconic autograph design has been used in a hockey product.
